Beauchamp Named IIABA
National YAC Committee Chair
IIAI
member Andy Beauchamp, Vice President/Director of
Morrison Galliher in Muncie
and Beauchamp McSpadden in
Warsaw, was named the Chair of
the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers National
Young Agents Committee on September 1, 2009 by IIABA.
Andy is the first Young Agent from Indiana to hold this
prestigious post with the national association and
reflects his passion for and hard work on behalf of
young agents and the Big I on both the state and federal
levels.

Beauchamp has served on the IIABA National Young Agents
Committee since 2005 as its Great Lakes Region
Representative.
In this role, he was the liaison between the
IIABA YAC Committee and the states of
Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota,
Ohio, South Dakota
and Wisconsin.
He now assumes the Chair of this committee, which
is comprised of six regions represented by six young
agents from across the country.
Prior to joining the national YAC
committee, Beauchamp was one of
Indiana’s most active young
agent members.
He held several committee positions with the
Indiana Young Agents Committee before becoming the Chair
of that committee in 2000.
Under his leadership, Indiana YAC was awarded the
first of its three consecutive Outstanding Young Agents
Committee Awards by IIABA in 2001.
He also earned the 2001 Young Agent of the Year
Award from the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana.
In addition to his Indiana YAC activities,
Beauchamp served three consecutive three year terms on
the IIAI Board of Directors, earning IIAI’s Director of
the Year Award in 2005.
“We in
Indiana
are extremely proud of Andy being named Chair of the
IIABA YAC Committee,” said IIAI Executive Vice President
Roger Ronk.
“His service to Indiana YAC and IIAI over the
last decade has been exemplary.
We are confident that Andy will bring the same
passion and tenacity to the National YAC that he used to
help make Indiana YAC one of the best YAC groups in the
country, and with similar results.”
Congratulations Andy on attaining
this prestigious position from IIAI and Indiana YAC!
